Service Description
MediTourism Beijing operates as a medical tourism coordination and intermediary service. We facilitate connections between international patients and accredited healthcare providers in China. Our services include appointment scheduling, hospital liaison, visa support, accommodation arrangement, interpreter services, airport transfers, and cultural tour coordination.
MediTourism Beijing is not a medical provider, hospital, or clinic. We do not practice medicine, render medical opinions, or provide healthcare services directly. All medical treatments, procedures, diagnoses, and clinical decisions are made exclusively by the licensed healthcare professionals at our partner hospitals.
Eligibility
To use our services, you must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid passport from your country of citizenship. Minors may receive medical services only when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on their behalf.
You agree to provide truthful, accurate, and complete information in all communications with us and our partner hospitals. Providing false or misleading information, particularly regarding your medical history, may compromise your safety and will be grounds for immediate termination of our services.
Booking and Payment
Our medical tourism packages follow a milestone-based payment structure: 40% deposit upon booking confirmation, 40% upon arrival and hospital admission, and the remaining 20% upon completion of treatment and before departure. This structure protects both patients and service providers.
We accept payments in USD, CNY, IDR, EUR, and GBP via bank wire transfer, major credit cards, and select digital payment platforms. All prices quoted are valid for 7 calendar days from the date of the quotation unless otherwise specified in writing.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that plans may change. Our cancellation and refund schedule is as follows: visa denial with documented proof entitles you to a 100% refund of all fees paid. Cancellations made 30 or more days before the scheduled arrival date receive a 90% refund. Cancellations 15 to 29 days before arrival receive a 75% refund. Cancellations 7 to 14 days before arrival receive a 50% refund.
For cancellations made after arrival or during treatment, refunds will be calculated based on actual costs already incurred for services rendered, including hospital deposits, accommodation bookings, and non-refundable third-party fees. All refunds are processed within 30 business days of the cancellation request.
Medical Disclaimer
MediTourism Beijing acts solely as a coordinator and facilitator of medical tourism services. All medical care, treatments, surgical procedures, and clinical decisions are provided exclusively by licensed physicians and healthcare professionals at our partner hospitals. We do not practice medicine or provide medical advice.
We do not guarantee specific medical outcomes, treatment results, or recovery timelines. Medical procedures inherently carry risks, and outcomes can vary depending on individual patient conditions. We strongly recommend that patients obtain independent medical opinions and fully understand the risks associated with any proposed treatment before proceeding.
Limitation of Liability
As a service intermediary, MediTourism Beijing shall not be held liable for any medical malpractice, complications, adverse outcomes, or injuries arising from treatments provided by our partner hospitals and their medical staff. Our liability is limited to the coordination and facilitation services we directly provide.
We strongly recommend that all patients obtain comprehensive international travel and medical insurance prior to departure. In all cases, our maximum aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the total service fees paid by you to MediTourism Beijing for the specific booking in question.

Governing Law
These Terms of Service and any disputes arising from or related to the use of our services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or our services, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith mediation administered by a mutually agreed-upon mediator in Hong Kong. Mediation must be initiated within 60 days of written notice of the dispute.
If mediation fails to resolve the dispute within 90 days, either party may submit the dispute to binding arbitration administered by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) in accordance with its then-current arbitration rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in English, and the arbitral award shall be final and binding on both parties.
