Overview
MediTourism Beijing is committed to fair and transparent refund practices. We understand that medical travel involves significant planning and financial commitment, and we strive to protect your investment at every stage of the process.
This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are issued, the process for requesting a refund, and the timelines you can expect. We encourage you to read this policy carefully before booking our services.
Refund Process
To request a refund, please email our support team at support@meditourismbeijing.com with your booking reference number, the reason for cancellation, and any supporting documentation (such as a visa denial letter). Our team will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
Refunds are processed within 14 business days of approval. All refunds are issued to the original payment method used at the time of booking. If the original payment method is no longer available, we will work with you to arrange an alternative refund method.
Non-Refundable Items
The following fees are non-refundable as they represent costs paid to third parties on your behalf:
- Visa application fees paid to consulates or embassies - Airline tickets (subject to the respective airline's cancellation policy) - Medical records translation fees for translations already completed - Government-mandated health screening or testing fees already processed
Force Majeure
In the event of force majeure circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government-imposed travel restrictions, or armed conflicts that prevent you from traveling, you are entitled to either a full refund or the option to reschedule your medical trip at no additional cost.
Force majeure claims must be supported by official documentation, such as government travel advisories or declarations of emergency. We will process force majeure refund requests with the highest priority and aim to resolve them within 7 business days.
110% Price Cap Guarantee
We stand behind our quoted prices. If the final costs of your medical tourism package exceed the quoted price for any reason within our control, MediTourism Beijing will refund 110% of the difference between the quoted price and the actual amount charged. This guarantee reflects our commitment to transparent pricing and our confidence in the accuracy of our quotations.
This guarantee does not apply to additional services requested by the patient after the initial quotation, changes in treatment plans recommended by physicians based on new clinical findings, or currency exchange rate fluctuations.
